Slipknot have appeared to secure a new drummer after parting ways with Jay Weinberg last November. In a recent social media post, the band hinted at the replacement with a photo of a broken drumstick captioned “Rehearsal.” While Slipknot hasn’t revealed the new drummer’s identity, there have been speculations it could be former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande, with fans noting his endorsement with Promark drumsticks.

Slipknot’s next performances will be at this year’s Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas on April 27, Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach on May 12, and Sonic Temple in Columbus on May 19. Rumors about Casagrande joining Slipknot have developed since Sepultura announced his sudden departure due to “a new project.” Weinberg has since moved on with Suicidal Tendencies.
