Slipknot release detailed mask video

The metal media has thoroughly examined the new Slipknot masks, most recently in the latest Slipknot video for “The Devil In I.” Well, today, we’re getting a very  detailed look at the new masks, courtesy of the meme-heavy site BuzzFeed.

In the video, with the song “The Devil In I” playing in the background, we’re shown extreme close ups, with an almost-animated GIF look and feel as the camera pulls away.

We’re pretty sure that Alessandro Venturella is the new bass player, but the drummer is still a mystery, though it seems everyone is guessing that it’s Jay Weinberg, son of Max Weinberg, the current drumming bandleader for Conan O’Brien.

The band’s latest album, .5: The Gray Chapter, is due out October 21st on Roadrunner Records.
