Revolver revealed their 20 best albums of 2017. These lists are never easy to create and everyone’s ranking are unpredictable and inconsistent. While Pallbearer made the cut for Consequence of Sound’s ranking, Revolver brought in bands such as Tombs and Godflesh. Rolling Stone’s featured a variety of genres and we were surprised seeing Code Orange on there, since it also included artists Taylor Swift, Drake, and Sam Smith. Decibel Magazine’s Top 40 placed Paradise Lost’s Medusa at number one yet, this particular record did not make that impression on everyone including one of our own Contributors, who sent in their list on time.
