Paramount+ has announced Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, a feature-length documentary offering an intimate look at the prince of darkness’ struggles since his 2019 fall. Produced by Echo Velvet in partnership with the Osbournes and MTV Entertainment Studios, the film explores Ozzy’s health battles, including his Parkinson’s diagnosis, and his determination to take the stage for one final performance.

“This is Ozzy like you’ve never seen before,” the documentary promises, highlighting his resilience, humor, and the vital role music continues to play in his life. “The last six years have been some of the worst I’ve been through,” Ozzy shared, adding that making music saved him. The film, directed by BAFTA winner Tania Alexander, began filming in 2022 during the recording of Patient Number 9 and will culminate with Ozzy’s planned farewell performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham on July 5.

Sharon Osbourne described the project as an “honest account” of Ozzy’s recent years, aiming to inspire others facing similar struggles. The documentary features exclusive interviews with Sharon, their children, and close friends and collaborators, including Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Maynard James Keenan, Zakk Wylde, and more. No Escape From Now is set to premiere later this year.
