Before Motley Crue ended, they signed a contract to say they were officially done as their final performance was on December 31st, 2015. While there have been rumors about the group reuniting, these speculations turned out to be fake news. However, the band has shared a photo on their Facebook page of drummer Tommy Lee, bassist Nikki Sixx and producer Bob Rock that appear to be in the studio. The caption of the photo reads “28th August 2018.”
Both Lee and Sixx added small clues on their Instagram where Lee shared a clip of himself playing the drums as well as sharing the in-the-studio photo, stating “It’s that new shit!!!” Sixx on the other hand, shared cryptic images of where he was on Monday.
