After dropping two major names a few months ago and slowly dropping names all last week… the gargantuan lineup for Louder Than Life 2026 was released today in all its glory.
When one sees My Chemical Romance, and Iron Maiden headlining two of four days, it’s really hard to imagine the masterminds behind Danny Wimmer Presents outdoing themselves once again. But… they did! This upcoming September 17th – 20th will see the 12th annual Louder Than Life converge once again on the bourbon loving city of Louisville, Kentucky. After revamping the Kentucky Expo Center layout last year and taking over the Kentucky Kingdom amusement park for the weekend as well, the fans were itching to see what was next for their beloved festival.
Nearly 200 bands will play over 4 days headlined by previously announced, Iron Maiden, and My Chemical Romance, as well as newly added Tool, and Limp Bizkit. Some direct support will be Pantera, Megadeth, Piece The Veil, A Day To Remember, Papa Roach, Sublime, Gojira, and the one and only Danny Elfman! Two mystery spots were seen on the poster today, and the only hints are a Mystery Guest Band will make a live debut, as well as a Very Special Guest (one of the biggest bands of the modern era) will be announced later in the coming months.
