Former Mushroomhead vocalist/co-founder Jeffrey Hatrix, known as Jeffrey Nothing, has come forward to reveal he’s battling cancer only nine months after losing his wife, Stacy, to the same illness. His daughter, Mea, launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with medical expenses.
Hatrix expressed the following on Facebook:
“I really wanted to keep this to myself. I was diagnosed a couple months ago. It will be very hard to continue working with the treatment path I have chosen. Thank You for anything you can do to help. I know everyone is going through a lot.”
In the GoFundMe, Mea states:
“My dad has recently been diagnosed with Cancer, just months after losing my mom to the same thing. Due to this, he may have to stop working during his treatment. Anything means everything, Thank you.”
Hatrix’s wife passed away in April 2024 at just 38 years old. When writing this, the GoFundMe is currently at 29% of its 20k goal. Donations can be made at this location.
