Pittsburgh, PA hardcore punk / metal band Code Orange will be gracing the pages of Heavy Metal Magazine issue 295. The band will be animated into a story called “The Hunt,” which is presumably based off their 2018 collaboration with Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor.

The band shared the news on Twitter yesterday (18th), posting a promo image with the caption “coming soon…”  Said promo also features several 1980s references, including Alf hood ornaments and the A-Team van.

No further information about the contents of the story or issue 295 in general has been announced yet.

In publication since 1977, Heavy Metal is a comic book-style magazine specializing in science fiction and fantasy stories and underground graphic artists. It currently publishes on a bi-monthly basis. Issue 294, dubbed the “industrial” issue, was released over the summer with four different covers.

Code Orange released their latest EP, The Hurt Will Go On, in 2018. Recently, the band released a collaborative single with Injury Reserve and Jpegmafia called “Hpngc.”
