Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk has revealed some unfortunate news that the group will no longer be touring or performing live again. Yesterday (3rd), Wilk announced in an Instagram post on addressing the anticipation for new tour dates following canceled shows. Instead of promising a potential return, he explained:

“I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the canceled RATM shows. I don’t want to string people or myself along any further. I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the canceled RATM shows. I don’t want to string people or myself along any further. So while there has been some communication that this may be happening in the future… I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again. I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was…”

Bandmates have yet to comment

There hasn’t been any further confirmation, including an official announcement on the band’s direct social media accounts. Sadly, this may be it for the group…again. Apparently, the only social media post we’ve seen thus far is from the band’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, with a repost from the news initially reported by Blabbermouth. Bandmates Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, and Tom Morello have yet to comment.

RATM’s North American tour set for 2023 was ultimately cancelled back in 2022. The announcement took place not too long after the completion of their 2022 trek with frontman Zack de la Rocha explaining needing more time to heal following a leg injury he sustained earlier that summer.
