The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled its 2025 nominees, with Bad Company and The Black Crowes receiving first-time nods, while Soundgarden return after appearing on the 2023 ballot. To qualify, artists must have released their first commercial recording 25 years prior to the nomination year.

John Sykes, chairman of the Rock Hall Foundation, comments:

Winners will be selected by 1,200+ industry professionals, with fan voting open online. The Class of 2025 will be announced in late April, alongside honorees for Musical Influence, Musical Excellence, and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award. The induction ceremony will take place in Los Angeles this fall.
