Metal had a huge moment in the spotlight this summer when French metal band Gojira was tapped to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic games in Paris. The band collaborated on a reworked version of the French Revolution song “Ah! Ça Ira” with Victor le Masne and featured opera singer Marina Viotti.
