Both bands have become standouts within the deathcore scene. And in anticipation of their new albums coming out this year, both Veil Of Maya and Impending Doom have given fans their first taste of new material.
First up, Veil Of Maya premiered a new song called “Vicious Circle” online. Some may notice that the track, off of their new album Eclipse, is a tad different from their normal sound (or at least from their fellow “Sumeriancore” bands) as Metal Sucks highlights. However, it’s still sounds solid. And if that wasn’t enough, fans were also treated to the first single from Impending Doom’s new album Baptized In Filth called “For The Wicked.” If the first track is any indicator, then the Christian deatchcore band’s fourth studio album and first via new label home eOne Music will be heavy as hell.
Veil Of Maya’s Eclipse will hit stores on February 28 via Sumerian Records, while Impending Doom’s Baptized In Filth comes out on March 13 via eOne Music. And just in time for their new albums to drop, both bands will also be on two big tours this Winter/Spring. Veil Of Maya just started their opening stint on In Flames and Trivium’s co-headlining North American tour, while Impending Doom will be heading out on the Metal Alliance Tour starting in March.
You can listen to Veil Of Maya’s “Vicious Circle” in the video above, while Impending Doom’s “For The Wicked” can be heard in the video after the jump.
