We’ve known for a while that the ninth album from Soilwork would be a double album called The Living Infinite. And last night, the band premiered a track from the album on Swedish radio station Bandit Rock. “Spectrum of Eternity” leads off the first disc, and explodes out of the gate. It’s everything you’d expect from the Swedish band: a hyperspeed volley of riffs and drumming, and vocals from Bjorn “Speed” Strid that are spit out during the verses and melodic during the chorus. And while Peter Wichers has left the band (again), and Night Flight Orchestra’s David Andersson is in the band now, there’s no immediate noticeable difference. The Living Infinite will be released in America on March 5th on Nuclear Blast. Check out “Spectrum of Eternity” after the jump.
