Tampa, FL melodic death metallers Wirethrone, has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for their new EP Serpent Queen, which is scheduled to arrive on November 25th. Formed in 2011, the group’s style has progressed towards old-school death metal mixed with thrash, hardcore, and progressive elements. The band entered Mastersound Studios in Tampa this past June to record what is known as their most “tenacious and experimental head-turning effort yet.” Today (8th), Wirethrone has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere their new song “Serpent Queen Pt1: Monarch.”

Guitarist James Harper commented:

“This EP is very ambitious and unique with some of the most dynamic music we’ve ever written. This EP is one song, split into four parts that flows seamlessly into one another. We are incredibly happy with the production from Mastersound, and we’re extremely excited to share with all our fans.”
