Portland quartet Ape Machine just recently released a new EP, Coalition of the Unwilling, on the Heavy Psych Sounds label. Starting next week, the band will be heading out on a tour that will find them playing at SXSW and the Fuzzed Out Fest. And today, we’re premiering “Give What You Get.”
The song is a riffy, high-energy rock song that reminds us a bit of Queens of the Stone Age, which is a compliment. Bluesy and not too heavy, but fun and upbeat, this is a great introduction to the band. Listen to “Give What You Get” and check out the band’s website.
