By now, many in the music industry are either touring on their way down to Austin, making a final checklist before heading down there, or already representing at the interactive portion of SXSW. The music segment of the annual South by Southwest conference starts on Tuesday, and as we continue to update our schedule of all the metal happenings going on down there, we’ve made a Spotify playlist of all the bands we know of so far that are playing it. So if you’re looking for the next big heavy band to come out of this year’s conference, making your schedule and want to know more about some of the bands playing, or just want to hear the music that’s representing the state of metal in 2014 at SXSW, give a listen.
