So here’s a story involving Tim Lambesis that doesn’t have to do with his current legal troubles. His side project, Austrian Death Machine, was set to release its third album following a crowdfunding campaign even after Lambesis’ arrest, and now it looks like that’s actually going to happen. Triple Brutal is currently set for release April 1 2014 (yeah, we noticed the date too) on Artery Recordings. You can also hear a new track “I’ll Be Back” in the video above.
This is the official statement for the album:
Artery Recordings has teamed up with Ahhnold to release Austrian Death Machine’s new record Triple Brutal. The record will hit retail stores and digital outlets on April 1st 2014. Triple Brutal was previously crowd funded on Indiegogo and had massive support. All contributors will start receiving their packages on March 28th. Austrian Death Machines previous record Double Brutal topped the scales and sold over 60,000 copies. Royalties from Triple Brutal will be going to the World Vision Charity. For more information on the charity you can go here. (http://www.worldvision.org/)
Well, at least the royalties are going to a good cause. It’s going to be interesting to see how reactions pan out to this one given the whole….well, you know, attempted murder trial thing.
