Tim Lambesis trial delayed once again

TimLambesiscourtWhile we knew that the trial of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis would be postponed until 2014, the “readiness conference” that was set to take place today has been postponed. According to Lambgoat, who are covering the trial so extensively that you’d think they were in AILD, Lambesis, his parents and his attorney TOm Warwick were in the courtroom, but they weren’t called forward, and the bailiff announced that the trial has been pushed back to February 6th. They also reported that there was a hearing today to review Meggan Lambesis’ restraining order against her husband. There’s no word from Lambgoat if the order was renewed, but there’s no reason to think that it wouldn’t be.

In case you’ve been living under a rock that isn’t wifi-enabled, last year, Lambesis was arrested for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill his estranged wife. Lambesis is currently out of jail on $2 million bond, and has been on house arrest. It’s been since November that he’s been in a courtroom, and it looks like it’s going to be another month now. In a separate civil suit, Meggan is suing Tim for $2 million, which he says he doesn’t have because Metal Blade refuses to releases his music.
