Metallica to debut new song on Halloween

Posted by on October 24, 2016

It is time to get into the Halloween spirit with tricks, treats and a new Metallica song! The announcement was made on Metallica’s website, as they wanted to give fans a heads up on the new song, “Atlas, Rise!” The new tune will be the third song we get to hear from the upcoming album Hardwired….To Self Destruct, which will be out on November 18th. The song will be available to stream online on all hallows eve, Monday October 31st at 12PM PDT. This could be one of the best treats to receive as the first two songs “Moth Into Flame” and “Hardwired” has led many to believe this will be a promising solid album.

That is not all, as Metallica has a creative and fun idea to make fans across the globe to hear this tune even earlier.  On Friday, October 28th, fans can check out selected independent record stores to receive a free Hardwired…To Self Destruct Halloween mask. Within this mask, there will be a special access code that will allow fans to hear the song an entire thirty minutes earlier. Metallica’s site shared the list of stores that are participating in this. I think this is an innovative way to bring people back to record stores along with a new approach to celebrate Halloween. Check it out and enjoy the next Metallica contest!
