What would it sound like if members of djent forerunners SikTh, Gallows, Hexes and maybe Slipknot (but let’s be honest, totally a member of Slipknot) jammed together? It might sound like Krokodil, whose debut album, Nachash, is out in stores today. The end result is heavy and a bit proggy, a bit like old Mastodon jamming with Meshuggah, although that description doesn’t do them justice. Let’s just say that if you’re a fan of any of the members’ other bands, you’ll dig this.
