Posted by on April 21, 2017

Yesterday (20) was a holiday for the stoners out there. We enjoyed going back to Sleep’s Dopesmoker and were a bit disappointed that there are most likely no such thing as ghosts. However, another week has flown by and there have been a diverse mix of videos from true story-telling to a video so abstract that if you blink, you could miss the image on the screen. Here are this week’s best music videos.

5) Slaughter to Prevail,  “Chronic Slaughter”

Slaughter to Prevail unleashed a brutal new video for the song “Chronic Slaughter” taken from their upcoming debut album Misery Sermon out May 5th via Sumerian Records.

4) Secret Sphere,  “The Calling”

Secret Sphere are on their way to release their ninth studio album The Nature of Time on June 2 via Frontiers Music. This week, they premiered a video for the new song “The Calling.”

3) Norse, “Cyclic”

Australian dissonant black metallers Norse unlocked one strange and creepy video for the new song “Cyclic” off of their upcoming album The Divine Light of a New Sun out May 25th via Transcending Obscurity Records.

2) Dying Fetus, “Fixated On Devastation”

We are looking forward to Dying Fetus’ new album Wrong One To Fuck With out June 23 via Relapse. It’s been five years since Reign Supreme and this week they unleashed the new tune “Fixated On Devastation.”

1)Chon, “Sleepy Tea”

Progressive or according to their Facebook, genre “doesn’t matter” are on their way to release their sophomore album Homey out June 16 via Sumerian Records. This week they gave us a trippy-8-bit video game style video for the song “Sleepy Tea” and we couldn’t resist marking it as the best video we’ve seen this week.

Bonus – Sólstafir, “Silfur-Refur”

Sólstafir unveiled another new song “Silfur-Refur” taken from the forthcoming album Berdreyminn out May 26th via Season of Mist.
