If you keep wondering how much your favorite bands make when they head out on the road, Billboard‘s Boxscore released their latest batch of earnings and attendance from many artists, including rock and metal ones and we’ve summarized them here for you.

We begin a new year and we get our first set of numbers on earnings and attendance from your favorite bands and the list is rather short this time but we can take a look at how these bands spent their holiday season, either broke like you and me or counting stacks of cash like Rush or Foo Fighters did, after ranking among the highest grossing touring bands in 2015. With the slew of tour announcements happening this past few weeks for the spring, we can’t wait to see those numbers coming in. Some of these numbers aren’t really a surprise or give us too much to analyze about but one that we’d like to bring up are the Falling in Reverse/Attila ones. Considering these are bands deemed big enough to headline stages for enormous tours like Vans Warped tour, selling less than a quarter of capacity in Los Angeles is a big blow to them. Having said that, as a Los Angeles resident, I gotta admit that it made me feel a little less ashamed of my metal scene here. Better luck next time, boys!

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
