Kim Dylla out of GWAR

Posted by on May 7, 2015

Well, that escalated quickly. Having just joined GWAR last September, Kim Dylla is no longer in the band, and she’s been out for months.

In an statement just released by GWAR:

“GWAR, the world’s premier shock rock band, today announced that Kim Dylla was released from the band directly following the fall 2014 GWAR Eternal Tour, and will no longer perform with the group. Dylla played the character of Vulvatron, a buxom Scumdog from the distant future, on the band’s last national tour.”

That tour ended in late December, so she was only in the band for around three months. The announcement goes on to say that the Vulvatron character will continue, but it won’t be played by Dylla because, “it just isn’t what we needed in the character.” Vulvatron isn’t the first female member of GWAR. That would be Slymenstra Hymen, who left the  band in 2000.
