What can we say? Who WOULDN’T want a parody t-shirt of some of metal’s most famous albums, but featuring classic cartoon and comic book characters? Clothing company Ript Apparel have crafted some pretty amazing T-shirts that no fan of metal or cartoons will want to be without.
From a Star Wars/KISS parody, to a Scooby-Doo/Rage Against the Machine one, there’s something for everyone. The Guns ‘N Roses/He-Man parody design looks a lot like a Skeletonwitch/Guns ‘N Roses parody shirt that a friend of mine owns. Unfortunately, I can’t find a picture of the Skeletonwitch shirt to compare. There’s a cool Iron Maiden one in there, too!
My personal favorite is the Wolverine parody of Metallica’s St. Anger. You can order your own shirt here for the incredibly reasonable price of 10 dollars per shirt! They also sell the designs as coasters, laptop bags or on headphones. If you’re musical interests go beyond metal, there are a lot of other album covers on the site that are great as well.
