Metal Blade partners with ‘Chopped’ chef to create Blacklight Media

santosYou might know chef Chris Santos as a judge on the Food Network show Chopped. He’s also the owner of a few restaurants across New York. He’s dabbled in the metal scene before, launching a hot sauce line with Steven Pearcy of Ratt, and filming a taste testing with Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta, and now he’s creating his own label. Santos has partnered with Metal Blade to bring you Blacklight Media.

According to Metal Blade, Blacklight Media was created to help otherwise overlooked bands get exposure- something Santos is very fond of. They’ve already signed a band, Good Tiger- who’s currently on tour with Between the Buried and Me, August Burns Red and The Faceless.
