We caught up with modern experimental technical metal newcomers from the New York metropolitan area, Frogg. The band recently unveiled their latest single, “Wake Up,” and are looking ahead with more in store. In the meantime, we caught up with Sky who revealed his dog named Eevee the Ewok is more or less a woofing-ifluencer on Instagram.

Tell us more about your pet(s) and their names?
Sky from FROGG here. I have a very cute shih-tzu named @eevee.the.ewok (check her out on insta!)  I also am the proud father of three white tree frogs. Little mr. timothy arnolds, big booty betty & gale.

Nope!

What’s your pet’s favorite song or album?

Eevee loves to listen to her mom Emma Rae sing and play piano. I don’t know if she likes music, but that’s the “sounds” she hates the least. But she actually sleeps on the couch behind me when I record heavy metal vocals.

How did you introduce your pet to metal?
Through practice. I shred guitar in my home studio and she’ll very often just nap on my lap making things very difficult. We often just break off into a snuggle sesh lol.

What animal charity means most to you?
Best Friends, no animal deserves to die just because of lack of funding. #savethemall
