While details are still scarce, we’re hearing word that Selim “SL” Lemouchi of Dutch band The Devil’s Blood has passed away. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, the Facebook wall of his current project, Selim Lemouchi & His Enemies, is filled with tributes, and the Facebook pages of Ghost pays tribute to the guitarist, who was 34. Here’s what Ghost had to say:

Children of the World!
We want to pay homage to our friend Selim Lemouchi
(The Devil’s Blood and his own Selim Lemouchi & His Enemies) who has passed away and left the world one great talent poorer.
R.I.P.

The Devil’s Blood had been together for six years, releasing their last album, III: Tabula Rasa of Death and the Seven Pillars, last year after announcing their disbandment. After the duo disbanded early last year, Lemouchi had been working on Selim Lemouchi & His Enemies. The band had most recently had an album listening party in December of last year. We’ll update this breaking story as we find out more.
