It hasn’t been a week since Soundwave Festival started limping on their tracks and hinted about not doing another edition next in 2017, which ended up turning true and even cancelled their 2016 edition due to lack of ticket sales. We have seen that story before with Rockstar’s Mayhem Festival here in the US except for the slight difference of the owed money to the bands that previously played, or at least that we know.

According to some documents obtained from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) from a meeting of Soundwave creditors on 7th October detail the money creditors believe Soundwave acts are owed and the numbers aren’t something to take very lightly as they go from some relatively low amounts owed to their locals Ne Obliviscaris $5,720.60 AUD to owing heavy hitters like Smashing Pumpkins $1,267,446.43. AUD.

The list is pretty long and all are in Australian Dollarydoos  but you can get a conversion with Google at the current rate of USD $0.71/$1 AUD:
