Ohio’s alternative metal outfit, Yesterday’s Hero, are set for their debut album, Ways To Hate, to arrive tomorrow (24th). The record features seven emotionally charged tracks exploring the aftermath of a tumultuous relationship. Breaking away from the digital singles trend, the band presents a nostalgic and raw analog sound, taking influences from bands like Chevelle, Rise Against, Killswitch Engage, Godsmack, and Seether. The group has teamed up with Metal Insider for an early album stream.

The group comments:

“‘Ways To Hate’ features previous re-recorded tracks from their 2021 debut EP “Killing Me” along with a few new songs such as “What I Needed”, “Bounce” and the title track “Ways To Hate” to complete the seven-song album that we want to get your blood pumping and moshing in the pit. We pride ourselves on using raw gritty tube amps, no backing tracks or plug-ins. There is no need for a laptop as we intentionally step back from today’s norm. What hear on the record is what you’ll hear live, note for note.”
