rob_zombie_carny_freakRob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare descends on California in four weeks. To give a closer look at what scare-seekers can expect, Zombie’s camp has released a video preview of the attraction. See for your yourself what lies ahead below.

The experience, hailed as 15 nights of pure terror, runs Thursdays through Sundays October 10 to November 2 at the L.A. County Fairplax in Ponoma, Calif. Zombie’s films get a definite nod with the “Lords of Salem Total Black Out,” “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto 3D” and ”Haunt of 1000 Corpses” houses being three main components of the evil surroundings.

Music will also play a role in the mayhem with live performances  every night including a cap off with a headlining set by Zombie himself. Musical acts are set to include: 3OH!3, 45 Grave, Andrew W.K., Beware Of Darkness, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Blood On The Dance Floor, Butcher Babies, DirtyLoud, Dirtyphonics, DJ Bl3nd, Doctor P, Duane Peters, Eagles Of Death Metal, Emilie Autumn, Evol Intent, Fei-Fei, Ghost Town, Goldfinger,HeavyGrinder, Kottonmouth Kings, Metalachi, Mod Sun, One More Time (Daft Punk Tribute), Ozomatli, Powerman 5000, Reel Big Fish, TSOL, Terravita, The Dickies, The Used, The Vandals, Twiztid, Vampires Everywhere, Wallpaper, William Control, Winds Of Plague and Zomboy.

A Great American Nightmare battle of the bands is also being held, leading up to the opening date, allowing the winner to play one night on the music cycle. There are still two days left for bands looking to get in on that action, unless the video trailer makes the festival too frightening for new bands to take.
