Because it’s National Doughnut Day, here’s a Weedeater song about doughnuts

Posted by on June 6, 2014

Guess what day it is? Guess what day it is? If you guessed International Day of Slayer, you’re right. However, it’s also National Doughnut Day. That means a few things: First of all, you can get free doughnuts nationwide if you play your cards right. Secondly, we can regale you with the useless trivia (via the above Wikipedia page) that the day always takes place on the first Friday of June and was created by the Salvation Army back in 1938.  Thirdly, it allows us to share what could be the finest metal song about doughnuts ever written, Weedeater’s “Hot Doughnuts Now.” The song is taken from their Scion/AV single from earlier this year, and you can download and listen to it now, preferably on your way to stuff a doughnut down your gullet. Check out the ridiculous lyrics below.

TIGER TALES AND BIG BEAR CLAWS.
DOUGHNUT HOLES OR IS IT DOUGHNUT BALLS?
POWDERED TREATS LAID OUT FOR YOU.
HÜSKER DON’TS OR HÜSKER DÜ?
HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW.
CREAM CHEESE.
