To celebrate the 20th anniversary of U2’s Achtung Baby, Q Magazine has assembled some big names to record covers of each song off the album. The tribute album includes Jack White, Patti Smith, The Killers, Depeche Mode, and others. However, the name that probably sticks out on the track listing in Nine Inch Nails, who cover U2’s “Zoo Station.”

This marks the first new recording (albeit a cover) from Nine Inch Nails since contributing the theme song to the film Tetsuo: The Bullet Man. Though Trent Reznor said that NIN would continue to record despite retiring from the road, he has been a bit preoccupied with scoring films as of late. That’s why even a new cover from NIN is big news for fans.

You can listen to Nine Inch Nail’s cover of “Zoo Station” in the video above (until it gets taken down). Although, we might prefer Reznor’s 80’s cover of Billy Idol’s “Eyes Without a Face.” Q Magazine’s tribute to U2’s Achtung Baby will be available in this month’s issue, available at newsstands now.
