1. Randy Blythe Arrest In Prague For Manslaughter
It was hands down the most shocking moment of 2012. Upon arriving in Prague last June, Randy Blythe was arrested for manslaughter and accused of causing the death of a fan during a show two years prior. The Lamb Of God singer remained in a Czech Republic prison for another five weeks, after having to post bail twice. His trial would drag on until March 5, when Blythe was officially acquitted of all charges. Lamb Of God can now move forward with touring without any legal interruption. However, it’s still mindboggling to think that anyone could be put through such an ordeal, let alone Blythe. Furthermore, the arrest still has the metal community on edge, forcing everyone to think twice about concert security.
