Dave_Mustaine_e_dragut_dar_dificil (1)1. Dave Mustaine

In the 80s, fans were likely rooting for Mustaine to succeed with Megadeth following getting the boot from Metallica. And succeed he did, recording metal classic albums like Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?, Rust In Peace, and Countdown To Extinction (just to name a few). Then, as the 90s started to come to an end, the quality in Megadeth’s release began to decrease (Risk anyone?) and Mustaine’s rants (usually about Metallica, but also often about politics) began to lose its charm.

By the time 2010 hit, Megadeth were back on the right track. They were releasing strong new material (with David Ellefson back in the band after a short departure) and they began tour the world as part of the “Big 4.” Then Mustaine began opening his mouth again about politics, this time making even more inflammatory comments (more specifically about Obama). Megadeth is still one of the top acts in metal and are doing just fine, but Mustaine certainly makes it hard for most to support him.
