4) Kylesa

A band like Kylesa could only come from the south. Mixing sludge with psychedelia, the band have had two drummers for the better part of their career. Their albums play with that, panning each drummer into the left and right channels at times. And while live, it sometimes just amounts to the two playing the same thing at the same time, it still gives them a thicker sound that helps them stand out from any other bands, and has become somewhat of their calling card.
