May 16, 2025 Release Highlights:
Bury Tomorrow, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience (Music for Nations):
The British metalcore band’s eighth studio album. Said guitarist Kristan Dawson of the title, “The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters. I think the notion of patience being haunting is quite a contrast and that’s certainly reflective of the album musically.”
Pelican, Flickering Resonance (Run For Cover):
The Chicago rockers release their first album with original guitarist Laurent Schroeder-Lebec in more than 15 years, which their Bandcamp says “tap[s] into the spirit of their formative era.”
Sleep Theory, Afterglow (Epitaph):
The fast-rising hard rock/metalcore band release their debut album, described by their label as merging “heavy rock with pop and R&B, producing anthemic bangers and emotional ballads.”
Steve Von Till, Alone in a World of Wounds (Neurot):
The Neurosis frontman/guitarist releases his sixth solo album is filled with “sweeping gothic tinged Americana, tripped out drones, beautiful world weary vocal melodies and slowly unfurling cello arrangements.”
Tarja, Circus Life (earMusic):
The heavy metal band’s 10th live album & sixth video album, originally part of the limited edition Best Of: Living The Dream box set, gets a stand-alone release.
