January 10, 2025 Release Highlights:

Franz Ferdinand, The Human Fear (Domino):
The Scottish rock band’s sixth studio album and first in seven years is described by their label as “showcase[ing] Franz at their most immediate, upbeat and life-affirming, unashamedly going for the pop-jugular in classic Franz style.”

Lambrini Girls, Who Let the Dogs Out (City Slang):
The UK noise-punk duo releases their debut full-length album that “bottles everything wrong with the modern world and shakes it up” in a mix of “upbeat pop punk, dirty grunge tones and discordant post-punk.”

Stick To Your Guns, Keep Planting Flowers (SharpTone):
Lead vocalist Jesse Barnett said the hardcore punk band’s eighth studio album is “a collection of songs that exist to spite the nihilistic narrative that plagues our minds and societies. One that says things are just the way that they are and that regardless of the burning rage or depthless depression that this fills us with, there is simply nothing we can do about it. I militantly reject such a joyless outlook on the one life that I get the honor of living. A new world needs a new you, so no matter how bad things get, keep planting flowers.”

Tremonti, The End Will Show Us How (Napalm):
Creed/Alterbridge guitarist Mark Tremonti returns with the sixth studio album from his eponymous band, which Blabbermouth says will “take the listener on a journey as Mark set out to create an album of a dozen individual compositions each unique from the other.”

The Halo Effect, March Of The Unheard (Nuclear Blast):
Now more confident in their sound, the melodic death metal supergroup’s sophomore album “explores how people interact with the world today, the challenges they face, and the ways in which the environment has changed.”
