Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
So I’m only just finding out that Bad Wolves is made up of a number of musicians from other bands, most notably guitarist Doc Coyle from God Forbid. And finding that out just made me miss God Forbid. Anyway, it’s another fat stack of debuts this week with additional heavy hitters like Fit For An Autopsy, Jinjer, and the two bands I was particularly excited to see: Leprous and Alcest. November looks like it’ll still be piling on debuts, but once December rolls around that list starts to thin out and by the end of the year/beginning of the new year we won’t see much new blood. Good lord, is it really almost the end of the decade?
