Sebastian Bach has a 280+ page book coming out early next year. According to the book’s publisher, the former lead singer of Skid Row, “rode the wave of fame in Heavy Metal’s heyday, and came out alive on the other side when glam rock went the way of the cassette tape and the Walkman.”

Hey, tapes are making a comeback! Technology aside, Bach told Metal Shrine in a 2013 interview that the book (which he wrote without a co-author) won’t be focusing on the negative.

“Someone said that it´s not proper to put people down in a book and I agree with that. Sometimes when I read books and the author is bitter and wants to put people down, it doesn´t come across well in the book, to me. I want it to be a positive book. I don’t want to rip people apart or put them down. I don´t like that in books.”

18 and Life on Skid Row will come out on Dey Street Books on January 19th, 2016, and is already available for pre-order. We’re of the opinion that he missed a golden opportunity by not naming it Sebastian Book, but that’s just us.
