We are speechless to report on a horrific tragedy that once again has shaken the music world. Last night (1), at least fifty people were killed in a mass shooting, making it the deadliest in modern US history at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas. It’s being reported the shooting began at 10:08 PM PT, and police identified the shooter as 64-year-old-man, Stephen Paddock. The local resident who is now dead, opened fire at concertgoers from a 32nd-floor window of the Mandalay Bay hotel. Fifty people were killed and more than 200 are injured.

Las Vegas sheriff, Joseph Lombardo, believed no other shooters were involved. However, authorities located Marilou Danley, who they believe was traveling with Paddock, and have since declared she’s no longer a person of interest. Unfortunately, we have faced numerous tragic events this year and right now, and while the genre might not be something we’d normally cover, people being horrifically massacred while out to enjoy a night of live music is something that’s happened more than it should (which is never) lately. Our thoughts are with all of the victims and their loved ones during this time as details continue to come to light.
