Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a new column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.
This week, we’re excited to shine a light on Corelia from San Diego, CA. Fans of The Human Abstract may actually recognize Corelia’s frontman Ryan Devlin. The singer recently filled in on vocals for The Human Abstract during the Frak The Gods Tour last Fall and during the band’s European trek with Suicide Silence. Corelia have also been receiving lots of buzz following the release of their debut EP Nostalgia in September. And while many labels have shown strong interest, the band plans to continuing building steam before signing with anyone. Corelia’s progressive riffs and song structure reminds us of bands like Protest The Hero and Textures at their best. So without further ado, listen to the first track off of Corelia’s debut EP “Treetops,” featuring guest vocals from Periphery’s Spencer Sotello, in the stream below.
