Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Serpent Omega guitarist Jonsson as he’s been spending this time working with a lot of projects.
What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?
That has not been an issue. Working with a lot of projects musically and actual real work too. Since March this year I have had less time than ever.
Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?
Yeah there is a band called Serpent Omega with a new album called II out 4th of September that is really amazing. They are on all cool playlists already.
A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?
In the beginning I was hording cans and hiding from people. Then I said fuck it and now I “live” as usual.
In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?
Angry birds with my 3yo. Also visiting a lot of old graves (stone ship formations) on Gotland with the mobile home. Reading up on history. Spending time on the shooting range.
What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?
Read real books and listen to music made with real instruments. Invest that time well and see it as a gift.
