Revolver recently shared their Best 25 Albums of 2019. While we thought that list missed a few heavy hitters including Cattle Decapitation, the magazine has surprised us once again with their “Best Songs of 2019” list. Looking over the list, a handful of these tracks are part of albums set for a 2020 release and one-off singles including Alien Weaponry, Ozzy Osbourne, Ghost, and Deafheaven. While it’s a unique way to bring songs to the spotlight, it can also be a disadvantage to some 2019 releases such as Candlemass, Destruction, Prong, and many more. However, it’s a fair mix of tunes all worth listening to.
