You probably decided that you weren’t going to bother watching the Super Bowl Halftime show this year upon first hearing that The Black Eyed Peas will be performing. Well now you might have more reason to tune in. The Associated Press is reporting that none other than Slash will be joining the hip hop group during their performance. The ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist and R&B star Usher are supposedly scheduled as surprised guests…oops. Though this wouldn’t be too much of a surprise. Besides getting tied up by collaborating with Fergie for his solo record, Slash also recorded a cover of The Who’s “My Generation” with Will.I.Am for a Pepsi commercial that aired during last year’s Super Bowl. Plus, Slash actually joined The BEP for a rendition of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” at the 2009 Rose Bowl (which you can see video of above). So is that an indication that they will be performing “Sweet Child O’ Mine” during the Super Bowl Half Time show? Only way to find out is by watching the game and Halftime Show Sunday on FOX…or YouTube the next day.
