Jeopardy! is arguably a television show many can agree on. This year alone, the 35-year-series (and counting!) presented by Alex Trebek has had its fair share of metal related questions. While you can’t bet $666, the long-lasting game show has had questions related to Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, and Megadeth, to name a few. Last night’s (19th) episode was no different as Lizzy Borden was an answer, which was under the category Music I’m Not Familiar With for $1600.
The answer was:
“‘My Midnight Things’ was a 2018 hit for this metal band big on horror stagecraft, but you won’t get 40 whacks at its name.”
However, the category spoke for itself as none of the contestants seemed familiar with the artist as no one was able to correctly answer the question.
Regardless, Lizzy Borden thought the nod was “very cool”

On March 6th, Trebek revealed he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and late last month, he shared some good news stating that his tumors have shrunk to 50%. Contestant James Holzhauer who won a total of $2,462,216 over the course of a 32 game winning streak has donated a portion of his winnings in Trebek’s honor. According to the website the 2019 Naperville Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk in Naperville, IL, Holzhauer pledged a total of $1,109.14 and issued the following message:
“For Alex Trebek and all the other survivors.”
