Variety reports, Marilyn Manson will appear in The New Pope, HBO’s follow-up to 2017’s The Young Pope mini-series. While no further details are available, the network released images of Manson and Sharon Stone on set for Paolo Sorrentino’s upcoming project. Variety also mentioned how both Manson and Stone are huge fans of both the original mini series and the works from director Sorrentino. According to IMDB, Stone will be featured in ten episodes and Manson’s guest role remains a mystery.
Unlike Metallica’s James Hetfield, this wouldn’t be Manson’s first dramatic role in a TV series or film as the shock rocker has made a number of appearances since 1997’s Lost Highway.
