Earlier today (10th), All That Remains have announced spring headlining tour dates with support coming from Unearth, Big Story, and The 9th Planet Out. Coincidentally, this announcement happened on the same day Metal Sucks reported one of Herbert’s final studio recordings have emerged online back on April 5th. The track is a Eurythmics cover of “Here Comes the Rain Again.”
Oli was featured on the song alongside Moroni Silva of A Dead Desire, who finished the track following Herbert’s death.
Silva told MetalSucks about the cover:
“Oli was a good friend and wanted to release the song at the start of the rain season, so it was released on the New Moon of the 5th of this month and dedicated to him.”

While we enjoyed hearing a posthumous song surface of Oli, it appears his widow, Elizabeth Herbert, has reacted poorly. Beth has issued a statement on Oli Herbert’s official Facebook page expressing there was no authorization to legally release the track.
Read her statement below:
“Hello everyone. This is Beth. I am aware that something was released that contained my husband’s work on it that was not finished before his death. To be clear, if anything is to be released after Oli’s death and it isn’t All That Remains material, you need me, the executrix of the estate to sign off on it. Also, probate was not opened until this year so any arrangements after my husband‘s death for his material but before I was named executrix is unenforceable.”

There’s currently an investigation going on about Herbert’s death as Police are treating it as suspicious. Oli was found dead in a pond nearby his Stafford Springs, CT home on October 16th, 2018. This is the first post we’ve seen from Beth since January. However, you will see none of her previous statements since his death are publicly available including her sharing his alleged toxicology report and cancelling his public memorial. It appears everything Beth has shared on Oli’s Facebook page has been deleted.
This past February, All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte broke his silence on Beth stating how she was “a garbage human being.” A Facebook page titled, Justice for Oli Herbert, was launched shortly after Herbert’s passing as there are more questions than answers surrounding his death. Hopefully, the truth will surface sooner than later.
