To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Cowboys From Hell, Rhino Records has released multiple special editions of the band’s first major label release. The first three editions were released on September 14. This past Monday (November 22), though, Rhino released the Ultimate Edition box version. In addition to the remastered album, previously unreleased demos, and extended liner notes from the surviving band members and producer Terry Date, the box includes custom artwork and a 60-page booklet with rare photos, expanded liner notes and replicas from the Cowboys era (which is detailed after the jump). Most stores are selling the box set for a list price of $99.98, but Amazon is selling it for a discounted price of $76.

However, before you shell out your hard-earned cash, you can get a nine-song preview of the box set. Rhino is providing an “online listening party” of the following:

-Cowboys From Hell [Disc 1]

-Psycho Holiday [Disc 1]

-The Art Of Shredding [Disc 1]

-Cemetery Gates (Live) [Disc 2]

-Primal Concrete Sledge (Live) [Disc 2]

-Heresy (Live) [Disc 2]

-Shattered  (Demo) [Disc 3]

-Message In Blood (Demo) [Disc 3]

-Domination (Demo) [Disc 3]

You can listen to the tunes in WMA or Quick Time format, which we’re doing right now as we write this. Listening to Pantera just feels right, whether it’s online or on disc. Cowboys From Hell: Ultimate Edition Box Set is available in stores now. You can see what replicas are included in the box set after the jump.
