If you’re a fan of A Perfect Circle, 2017 has been a good year for you. The band unveiled their new lineup, announced that they’d be touring, and have already debuted two new songs on the tour, “Feathers” and “Hourglass.” In fact, when Billy Howerdel announced that the band had signed a new deal with BMG, he even said “New APC 2017.” Apparently, that’s not the case, however. A fan from London asked about the band’s new album via Twitter, asking if it’d be coming out this year, which the band shot down:

Well, at least that could mean that Maynard is hard at work on a new Tool album, which could very much come out this year, right? Wrong. APC shit all over those dreams too. This is several week-old news that Loudwire uncovered, so perhaps something has changed since then, but probably not. At least you’ve got two live songs to listen to.
