Touring in Europe is still a hot-button issue. While word from Anonymous that a Milan, Italy Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach contest might be the target of a potential terror attack resulted in the show’s cancellation, they later said they had no real source of the claims. But after the horrific attacks at the Bataclan in Paris earlier this month, it’s understandable that many are erring on the side of caution. And two separate shows taking place tomorrow (24) in Paris and Berlin, respectively, have been canceled by Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach.
Five Finger’s show, which was scheduled at the Olympia, was postponed earlier today. Here’s what the band said via Facebook:

Regardless of what Destruction might have to say, they’re not an American band like Eagles of Death Metal, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach are. With the potential of an attack, it’s understandable why they would have canceled the Saturday show, and both FFDP and Papa Roach share the same management, which might be the reason for them both pulling out of shows. You can see why any band, American or otherwise, might be a little (literally) gun shy.
